Avoiding compulsory military service in the Republic of Armenia leads to the initiation of criminal proceedings against the person and the putting the latter on the wanted list. The legal way of terminating criminal proceedings depends on the personal case of the person and the circumstances available therein, which need to be combined with the grounds envisaged by law for terminating criminal proceedings.

• is engaged in entrepreneurial activities in the Republic of Armenia,
• has Armenian national origin.

The application for residence status in the Republic of Armenia should be submitted to the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
